Quilt with Judy

 (formerly Quilt Sitters Circle) meets six time per year at the Spring Creek Business Center (113 S Main St) in Lodi, Wi.  Cost for the year is $55.  An afternoon group meets at 1:30 and an evening group at 6:00pm.  Jan 12 * Mar 8 * May 10 * Jul 12 * Sept 13 * Nov 15

A new quilt pattern, designed by Judy, will be given out at each meeting.

New products are highlighted and announcements of interest for quilters are given as well. This is followed by a "show and tell" of members projects which always proves to inspire the group.

Village Creek Quilts is two doors away from our meeting place and will be open prior to each meeting.  Other points of interest in Lodi are Cottage House Primitives, Sunfall on Main, Lodi Valley Resale, Three Bats in a Belfry and Nancy's Floral.  Remember. . . Support your local quilt shop!!

"WOOL FOLK ART CLUB" meets six times over the course of a year.  Meetings are held at Cottage House Primitives in Lodi, Wi (120 S Main St)  Projects for the year will be from the book WOOL APPLIQUE FOLK ART by Rebekah Smith.  Purchase of the book is required (avail at Cottage House).    Cost for the year is $36.  Meeting times are 12:30-3:30  OR 5:30-8:30.  Feb 22 * Apr 25 * Jun 27 * Aug 22 * Oct 24 * Dec 5  Registration is limited, please email for availability.

FOUR CORNER BAG         Thr, Nov 17    1pm-4pm

Create this great tote using two fabrics that twist around the bag.   It has a square bottom and can be made in two sizes.  You'll be walking out with a finished bag!

 BEGINNING WOOL APPLIQUE      Thr, Nov 17    5pm-8pm

Anyone can appliqué with wool.   With it's textures and rich colors, be drawn to wool for wonderful folk art projects or for embellishing quilts of all kinds.  Learn various techniques used and products that make it a breeze to work with.  We'll be making a pincushion or needle keep.  

 SEVEN SISTERS         Fri, Oct 21       12:30-4pm

A 60 degree design, featuring clusters of seven 6-pointed stars.  An age old pattern brought to the present with new techniques and fabrics.

 FALL TANGLE              Tue, Sept 27          12:30-4pm

A pumpkin vine tablemat appliquéd with the scribble technique.  This method makes appliqué achievable by anyone.   Get those appliqué vines on your quilts that you have always envied.  Free yourself of doing things the "right" way and give it a try.
